Anthropic acqui-hires Humanloop team to deepen enterprise AI tooling
Humanloop founders and team members joined Anthropic in 2025, bringing experience in evaluation and AI tooling.
In August 2025, TechCrunch reported that Humanloop's co-founders and most of its team had joined Anthropic. An Anthropic spokesperson told the publication that the company had not acquired Humanloop's assets or intellectual property.
Experience in AI tooling
Humanloop built tools for prompt management, model evaluation, and production monitoring. Its founders joined Anthropic alongside roughly a dozen engineers and researchers, bringing experience with the practical work of developing AI applications.
