fal added a serverless ComfyUI runtime and made Stability AI's Stable Diffusion 3 available through its platform. The update brings visual image-generation workflows and hosted model access into the same service.
Turn a workflow into an endpoint
ComfyUI connects image-generation steps in a visual workflow. fal's runtime runs those workflows without requiring a dedicated machine to remain online between jobs. It also provides a route to expose a workflow as an application programming interface (API).
That is useful when an application needs the same sequence of image-generation and processing steps repeatedly, rather than a single model request.
Usage and billing become easier to inspect
The release includes a redesigned dashboard with more detailed analytics, billing, and usage pages. Those views help connect the work a workflow performs with the resources it consumes. The fal profile covers hosted model endpoints and custom serverless workloads.
