Alibaba develops the Qwen model family and provides hosted model access through Alibaba Cloud Model Studio. The platform also offers other supported models, so the Qwen family and the complete service catalogue are not identical.
Access and deployment
Model Studio uses an Alibaba Cloud account and regional endpoints. Available models, account requirements, and deployment options differ across regions. Downloaded Qwen releases offer a separate self-hosting route with model-specific licenses.
How pricing works
Hosted inference uses the selected model's input and output rates. Some models use request-context tiers: the request length determines the unit rate for the whole request. Caching and batch processing can have different rates. Check the intended region and model before comparing a workload with another API.
