Access and workflow
An individual plan provides personal access; organization plans add seat management and policy controls. Features and supported models differ by plan and environment. Review generated changes as ordinary contributions, including their tests and dependencies.
How pricing works
Paid plans combine subscription or seat fees with an allowance of GitHub AI credits. Additional agent and model use follows the account's usage-based billing rules. Code completions and model-backed agent work do not necessarily consume credits in the same way. Compare the relevant plan and task type, rather than treating all Copilot activity as one rate.
