Microsoft Foundry
An Azure platform for deploying models, building agents, and managing AI applications.
- Model and agent development in an Azure project
- Access controls, tracing, and evaluations
- Costs depend on deployed models and Azure services
Microsoft Foundry groups models, agents, and tools within Azure projects. It provides development tools alongside access management, monitoring, and evaluation for deployed AI applications.
Working in Azure
Start with an Azure account and a project, then select a model and supported deployment option. Model availability, quotas, and regional capacity determine which endpoints can be deployed. Foundry fits applications that already need Azure identity, resource management, and operational controls.
How pricing works
There is no single flat price for every Foundry application. Model inference, hosted deployments, agent tools, and supporting Azure resources have their own charges. The selected region, model, deployment type, and account agreement affect the estimate.
