n8n connects triggers and actions into workflows, with code steps for custom logic. It supports model calls, tools, and agent workflows alongside ordinary application integrations. The Community Edition is self-hosted; keeping it updated, backed up, and properly secured remains an operational responsibility.
How pricing works
Cloud pricing is based on complete workflow executions rather than charging for every individual step. AI credits and plan features have additional allowances. The Sustainable Use License permits many internal uses but restricts uses such as reselling hosted n8n access; commercial arrangements cover other cases.
